How to set up your website assistant
Go to Website, then AI assistant: set the assistant’s name and tone, your charter, your do’s and don’ts, the greeting and suggested questions, and when it hands visitors to you. Click Save.
Your website assistant answers visitors 24/7 from your listings and the MLS® feed, and turns chats into leads. On this page you decide how it speaks. The same settings are used by Ask AI in your admin. A preview on the right shows how it will look on your website.
Steps
Open AI assistant
Go to Website → AI assistant.
Personality
Type an Assistant name (what visitors see) and pick a Tone: Warm, Professional, Concise or Luxury.
Your charter
Under Your charter, write in your own words what you specialise in, the areas you cover, the languages you speak and how you like to work. Your assistant uses it when visitors ask about you.
Do’s and don’ts
Under Do’s and don’ts, add short rules to Always and Never, or tap a suggestion. A few rules are always on for every website, like never putting a price on a home.
First impression
Write the Greeting visitors see when they open the chat, and up to four Suggested questions they can tap.
Hand-off and save
Under Hand off to you when…, choose when it brings you in: someone wants to see a home, someone is thinking of selling, or it can’t answer a question. Click Save.
Questions
Where do the leads from chats go?
To your Leads, like any other enquiry, with a short summary of what the visitor asked.
Can I read the conversations?
Yes. Go to Business → Website chats.
Will it give visitors a price for their home?
No. It never values a home or predicts prices. It offers your home evaluation form and the request comes to you.
